WX image update

Our APT satellite weather picture capability has matured quite a but in the last week or two. At the moment I am still busy fine tuning the receiver we got in kit form from Miroslav Gola. The results using the kit receiver from Miroslav is quite a bit better than using my handheld radio.

Another change I made was moving from WXSat to WXtoImg, which makes a remarkable difference. WXtoImg has an impressive lists of features and so far I have been able to generate better quality images using this software.

Below is weather satellite images I received from the NOAA-19 satellite and decoded using WXtoImg. Images are from 7 July 2011.
