Beep-Beep-Beep…

After trying to listen to CO-58‘s (Cubesat XI-V) Mode U Telemetry beacon (which is only switched on over Japan – I discovered later) and not hearing anything. And again not hearing anything from Delfi-C3 I needed a little pick-me-up and decided to tune into CO-58’s CW beacon.

Thus far I have had good success with CW beacons on various spacecraft and in many instances are able to track them to elevation angles of two or three degrees. Below is the CW data from CO-58 pretty much as it came from MixW. Again, I think this is some of the first data I have logged like this – so it should get better as we go along. I will try and upload an audio file of the beacon at some stage.
